Mixing has been one of the most challenging and crucial parts of my creative workflow. This is a tool I wish I had years ago. Alejandro puts in a lot of work to make recording more accessible, and the template delivers. Just plug in and you're ready to go. I am a metal musician who uses Reaper to write and record for my band, Horn of Abraxas. I have a basic understanding of mixing, and have spent countless hours on Youtube and various forums trying to learn how to mix a recording myself, but I have never been satisfied with my results.
I purchased Reapertips' Metal Songwriting template, hoping that it would be a plug-and-play solution for my recordings, and it has exceeded all of my expectations. The first day I downloaded the template, I loaded one of my songs into it and then rendered it, and went to listen to it in the car, and it sounded as good as any mix you'd hear on Spotify or Apple Music, and I did not change a thing from the stock template. That's how good it is.
Now I can focus 100% on the songwriting itself, and not have to worry about mixing at all. Previously I have paid people to mix my songs for me, and for the price of just one song mix, I was able to purchase the Metal Songwriting template, which sounds better right out of the box than the mixes I paid for.
I fully plan on using the template to write, record, and publish any future songs or albums. Thank you to Alejandro and Reapertips for creating this amazing tool for us metal musicians, it is worth every penny (and a whole lot more, if I'm being honest.)

The first thing I noticed when I first opened the Modern Metal Songwriting Template was how beautifully organized it was. Everything is very conveniently laid out, labelled, colored, and thoughtfully routed. This is very important for getting things done quickly, smoothly.
Then I listened to the installed demo tracks. Whoa! Stunning audio quality on every level. As professional as anything. Could I make my drum, guitar, and bass sound as good as THAT?! Yes. You can have it. Maybe some light level adjustment to suit the volume of your particular guitar, but that's it! Imagine queuing up a drum track, laying down bass and guitar, popping out the master audio (already mixed!), and sending it straight to Bandcamp or Spotify. Comically easy!
My only regret is all the time and effort I wasted before Modern Metal Songwriting Template came along!
