One of the things that makes drum programming much more enjoyable is naming your MIDI notes.
This way you can have a nice map of every sample available. No more memorizing or guessing 😄
Just double right click on the piano roll and set a name for each key.
Btw, this works better if you switch to named notes mode. Shortcut: alt/opt + 2
Save and load
You can save and load your custom names for later use. To do this, go to File > Note/CC Name > Save or Load
You don’t have to do all the manual work, though!
Someone probably did it already for you 😉

You can load these using the method I explained above 🙂
